However, please keep in mind that everything is on a first come, first serve basis and that this Marine Corp Dinnerware is VERY RARE and does not last "for sale" for very long! Most if not all of our offered USMC Marine Corps Dinnerware and Tableware is museum quality.

The photo to the left shows approximately a 50 year span and 2 patterns of USMC Marine Corps China and Dinnerware. In many cases you can approximate the date of a piece by the "Semper Fidelis" Banner on the USMC EGA Insignia. Prior to 1954 the EGA was "double bannered" with Semper on the left banner and Fidelis on the right banner. But in 1954 the Marine Corps slightly changed its EGA where "Semper Fidelis" was in a single banner. Sometime around WWII and prior there also is a difference in the Eagles Wings, "droopy vs. lifted up" - but we aren't going to get into that here!!!

The above photo shows the 6th Marines Mess Hall at Quantico, Virginia in 1915. Note the large white handless mugs which may or may not have been the standard US Navy enlisted mug. However, we have some very early china mugs stamped with the initials USMC 1905.
